The Broadway Cinema Comes to Dailly! 🎬✨
Thanks to funding from Foundation Scotland, Friends of The Broadway, Prestwick are bringing the magic of cinema to rural communities across Ayrshire!
Their first pop-up cinema event lands in our very own Dailly Community Hall on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th March, offering a weekend packed with film, history, and community storytelling.

Saturday 8th March, 7PM - 9PM
We kick things off with a family-friendly screening of Jumanji starring Robin Williams. A classic adventure full of laughter and thrills—perfect for kids and grown-ups alike! 🐍🎲
Sunday 9th March, 2PM - 4PM
Dive into the history of South Ayrshire’s cinemas with a special presentation on the Broadway and other former picture houses.
Then, take part in our first-ever oral history workshop, co-hosted by their official filmmaker, Gemma of Esther Morgan Photography.
Sunday 9th March, 7PM - 9.30PM
We close the weekend with a screening of Forrest Gump, the unforgettable Tom Hanks classic. A heartwarming film about life’s unexpected journey—don’t miss it! 🏃🎉
🎟️ Entry is FREE, and concessions will be made available from a fantastic team of volunteers.
