Dailly Community Council

Dailly Community Council holds its meetings in the Community Hall at Dailly generally on the first Wednesday of each month, at 7.00 pm.

However, normally there will be no meeting in the month of August, due to summer holidays, and the January and February meeting is combined – check for the date.

With the new Scheme of Establishment for Community Councils, we can have ten community council members.

They all volunteer their time and effort to be on the Community Council.

The council is constituted, and administered through South Ayrshire Council.

Meetings are open and friendly, and discuss a variety of current topics that are affecting the village.

Members of the public are welcome to attend any of the meetings, but are instructed not to take part until the end of the official business, when they will be given time to express any concerns.

Often additional people are co-opted to the Community Council – if anyone is interested in becoming involved with the Community Council, please make yourselves known to any of the Community Council members.

A copy of the minutes will be posted on the notice board in the Community Centre and included in this website. They are also posted on the outside notice board at the Miners Memorial together with other notices.

How can you get involved?

Bring to the committee any ideas or projects you think would benefit the parish. Share good news with the committee that can be shared within the parish.

Please hand in letters, suggestions or comments to the staff at the Community Centre for passing on to the Community Council Meetings or message via the Dailly CC Facebook page or website.

Come along to the meetings – everyone welcome.

If you can’t attend and want a point raised, please ask one of the committee to do so on your behalf.

Don’t forget to look in the Community Centre, Morrisons Daily, and the Dailly Store and on the Dailly Community Council Notice Board at the Miners Memorial for various notices.
