Dailly Community Development Trust
Dailly Community Development Trust is an active charity and community-based Trust which seeks to empower the local community of Dailly through the development of projects, provision of services, and organisation of events.
The Trust is responsible for a range of projects including running a weekly Food Pantry, organising basic IT courses and IT drop-in sessions with the support of South Ayrshire Council, supporting the Monday Club, and creating and helping to run Dailly Youth Club in partnership with Z1 Youth Trust.
We also organise events such as the annual Dailly Village Fete and a Christmas Lunch for the village, both of which are free of charge to ensure everyone can participate.
The Trust is also keen to pursue larger projects for the betterment of Dailly as well.
Currently, we are working with SAC to redevelop the Play Park, and we are also working closely with The Cairnhill Group on the development of the Dalquharran Estate.
The Trust has developed good relationships with many key partners and stakeholders and is supported by a part-time community development officer, funded by the National Lottery Community-Led Fund and Foundation Scotland.
We hold monthly Board meetings, and our AGM is held in May each year.
