Everyone should make an effort to report on the Ayrshire Roads Alliance website when they encounter potholes or other road issues.

It is very easy to report faults and defects on-line on ARA website - www.ayrshireroadsalliance.org

Danger, High Risk to Loss of Life or Limb

If a road, footway or street lighting defect is causing a clear and immediate danger (high risk to loss of life or limb), you should treat it as an emergency.

If you are reporting an emergency fault that requires immediate attention, report by telephone - South Ayrshire Council - 0300 123 0900.

Trunk Roads

Faults relating to trunk roads (A77 and A78) should be reported to AMEY Highways on 0800 042 0188.
