The Town House on Knockcushan Street, Girvan, serves as a tourist information hub and craft emporium, run by devoted volunteers.
Open seasonally from late March to late September, officially the Knockcushan Street Town Hall Tower, also known as Stumpy Tower dates back to 1778 and today represents the Category B listed building, built in a Neoclassical style.






Adjacent to the RNLI, it is nestled within Knockcushan Gardens.
The location includes a memorial pillar marking Knockushion, or, 'The Hill of Justice' - the home of the High Court ancient Jurisdiction of Carrick.
